DL Warfield is a multidisciplinary artist, creative director, designer and creative crusader.

Best known for his collaboration with Atlanta legends like Outkast and T.I., DL Warfield is one of the A’s most emblematic visual artists. His mixed medium high art is his way of speaking his mind by incorporating elements from street culture, race, politics, sports, and current events.

Since the turn of the millenium, DL’s creative company GOLDFINGER c.s. has delivered work for important brands Nike, Sprite, Heineken, Anheuser-Busch, Geffen Records, Sony Latin Entertainment, DreamWorks, SonyBMG, OutKast Inc., Universal Records, HBO, Virgin Records, Coca-Cola, Adidas, Church's Chicken, Vibe Magazine, Atlanta's 97.1 Jamz, and automotive giant GMC. believe it or not, these are just a select few.

Our team had the privilege of collaborating with DL on an epic project that captures his creative process and highlights one of his most significant works yet: The United States Of We Built This Shit For Free, a powerful piece that is part of his seminal AmericanFlagRemix series. DL's AmericanFlagRemix series has taken many different forms, using various approaches, materials, construction, and meanings.

The AmericanFlagRemix is, in his own words, one of his most prolific series yet. This particular piece is heavy on both physical and symbolical weight, painting a picture of the complex history of American race relationships through the lens of a black man.
